A: Smooth, yet freestyle controls such as the helicopter in Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

B: Strict, yet very easy to use controls, such as a first-person version of the helicopter in Just cause 2.

I played the beta and I can tell you that the controls are smooth but “heavy”. It doesn’t swing on a dime, but instead it takes time to maneuver, however it is dominating and IMO way overpowered. You do have limited ammo and rockets with it, but you have more than enough to never let go of the trigger for the full 30 seconds so it’s completely pointless to even have an ammo count on the screen

no you cant and if the chopper gets blown up you cant die eather thats not your character operating the gun anyway so you cant die unless your character on the ground gets killed by somebody or if you shoot yourself with your own gunner. yes ive done that before

Dogs are cool but they are overpowered. The Modern Warfare helicopters, for the most part you can just stay inside, but a dog can get to you there. As well as a camper killer, it also kills people who rush a popular room. I really don’t like it, I think they’re just umbalanced. But sense it’s like 11 kills and killstreaks don’t add to killstreaks, it’s more balanced. I’ll prolly change my mind though when I first start playing and suddenly a dog attacks me haha. Now dislike me as you wish but I speak the truth and you know it.

I think it looks just fine.
Remember that it’s a 11th killstreak and killstreaks don’t stack up. Also unlike MW2, it doesn’t display enemies with big red squares and the gunships machinegun doesn’t fire exploding projectiles. It has a time limit, so you can’t fly it until it has been shot down unlike Bad Company 2. In Bad Company 2 anyone who’s lucky can get the chopper just if he gets to the spawn first, here you have to kill 11 guys before getting it. Come to think off it, youre comparison is just f**king stupid.

Now what I think theyre lacking is the announcer and player voices. One thing that makes W@W great is the announcer telling you something like “The enemy has sent hounds, but they too will find only death!” or the marines yelling “They know where we are!” when a recon plane was called in. I mean, in mw2 they had the announcer only said “Enemy apache incoming” or something along those lines but that would be it.

chopper gunner needs bullet penetration. the CG in mw2 was a little cheap with the exploding bullets, so im glad thats gone, but since the bullets dont explode they need to be able to pentrate walls, or else people will just hide indoors and your hard earned killstreak is wasted.

COD: Black Ops looks incredible. I couldn’t be happier that Treyarch has done away with the cheap streaks and perks of MW2, including One Man Army, Riot Shields, and that god-forsaken Pavelow. Attack helicopters don’t bother me so much, or even Chopper Gunners, especially because the new ones look like a FPS player’s wet dream. But Pavelows, in a word, RIDICULOUS. Treyarch is definately on to something by including new AA (anti-air) killstreaks in the game like the SAM Turret and the Valkery Rockets. I’m personally big on destroying enemy support actions and cannot wait to blast your s**t out of the sky. Dog will attack you if they see you, however, they see you much quicker if you’re shooting your gun, thats all. It’s not the dogs are f**kin pu**ies or something. As it has been since 2008, Treyarch > Infinity Ward. See you November 9th!

This game really needs more killstreaks above the limit of gunship.
The worst thing is that you dont gain more kills to killsterak count by killsreak rewards, and that just sucks. MW2 was better by killsteraks because they really helped you but now they just take your kills if it is something like chopper. Make even some of the killsterak reward kills to be counted on killstreak. And i think this game also needs somethin to be compared to nuke because the gunship is so common. Something that ends the game or just makes a lot of destruction to the enemy would be great, and the killstreak limit to that shuld be at least as much as nukes limit.
