A lot of people got very excited when news broke of a reimagined map from the original Black Ops – called ‘Nuketown 2025′ – is to be a pre-order bonus for anyone who orders Black Ops 2 before launch. Call of Duty fans got so excited that Nuketown 2025 was trending on Twitter briefly.
So, how’s this gonna work? Well, if you pre-order Black Ops 2 before its November 13th release date you’ll “secure a launch unit” that will enable you to download the map as soon as you slot the disc into your PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, or launch it on Steam.

A. Fans who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops II now will get the Nuketown 2025 downloadable bonus map when Call of Duty: Black Ops II releases this November 13th. If you already pre-ordered the game then you’re all set, and you will be able to download the bonus map when Call of Duty: Black Ops II launches.

A. Nuketown 2025 will be available to any customer who pre-orders their copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops II at participating retailers worldwide. Pre-ordering will secure you a launch unit of Call of Duty: Black Ops II that will include the Nuketown 2025 downloadable bonus map.
Q. When will Nuketown 2025 become available to me?
A. The Nuketown 2025 map will be available for download when Call of Duty: Black Ops II releases worldwide on November 13, 2012.

Hmmm, I pre-ordered mine from Sainsbury’s a few months ago (I’m in the UK) it is one of the sites on the pre-order list on Black Ops 2′s actual site, does that mean I get it as well?

Amazon mostly, they send the game a day early sometimes. Depends where you live. In USA I’d say Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart etc.

That has not been confirmed. It will most likely be available as DLC at some point down the line, though.

Alright Im buying Black Ops 2 at”The Exchange”, a smaller video game store, like GameStop. Howevr they are not doing pre orders because the store is so small but is having a Mid Night Release for the game. If i buy the game at midnight there will I still be able to get Nuketown 2025??

So, I pre-ordered in-store at sainsburys but when I picked up my game on Tuesday there was no code – they said that they did a different deal (nectar points)… but this doesn’t make sense to me?? Shouldn’t the code be independent of the store you bought it? Should the code be IN the box, or is it given separately?

Basically I preordered in May but I didn’t know it was being delivered from Luxembourg as I live in the UK. So when it hadn’t arrived on the release date I was pretty pissed off. It still hadn’t arrived 3 days after the release date. So I bought it from Tesco and cancelled the order. Today my preordet turned up with the code for Nuketown 2025 code, but because it’s being sent back I can’t use the code. Is there anyway I can get the map?
