Black Ops 2 Zombies “Could” Handle 8 Players, Twice the Amount of Zombies
According to Treyarch’s Studio Head Mark Lamia, Black Ops 2′s new and improved version of Zombies has a whole new experience in store for fans of the super-popular horde mode.
For the third iteration of Zombies Treyarch have given the team “a free reign to do pretty much whatever they want with the mode regardless of the direction the campaign is headed in”, and going by the amount of effort put into previous Zombie outings, you can be sure that things are going to get interesting with the Black Ops 2 version. New game modes have already been confirmed.
Another advancement on the Zombie side of things is the fact that it’s now utilizing the same engine that’s used in multiplayer. This means that it’s possible to have 8-players and double the amount of Zombies in one game. But, if Treyarch have decided to up the player count they haven’t confirmed it yet. Maybe their mentioning of it being possible is a hint that it is, in fact, what they’re doing.

That doesn’t mean the regular horde mode won’t still be there.
I just want a Zombies campaign and a 4-man survival that has a storyline going with it, Easter eggs and such. Next thing you know it, they’ll be putting gun game and 1 in the chamber in Zombies…

I think they would make zombies have selectable levels.. Like novice, normal, veteran. When I play I can get to round 25 by myself but then s**t hits the fan. Just wish you could select a level and I could play that for hours!

i think it would new! Even if you don’t like the whole 8 player thing,you still can go 2 players if that’s your thing. I would play with 8 players because i can play with more of my fiends.

agreed, solo runs are so much easier to survive in just because you dont have to deal with idiots messing up the zombies movement patterns lol. i can go litterally indefinately on ascension and on moon when solo by coraling the zombies

bioforce is right! it would be easier with solo leader boards. it would be good without idots in are way all the time. But those idots are mostly kids! Treyarch needs to make it a lot harder to get little kid involved in this! kids are SOOOOOOOOOO annoying to zombie professionals like you and me.

Sure 8 man zombies sounds great but I don’t want here to end up being easter eggs which require 8 people in a game. getting 4 people with shangri la and moon was hard enough as it was. Also I reckon throwing in some harder gamemodes to challenge syndicate himself would be a great addtion! Bring it on!

8 player zombies sounds great, as long as they still have the option to just play 4 player zombies which i know they do. CoD is changing but I think the zombies is changing the most and sometimes change is bad

My favorite level in black ops was “call of the dead” I would like to see large maps and more slingshots ziplines and traps also maybe the ability to pack a punch twice. The second upgrade would be for a weapon with a little added damage but also would let you consume less ammo in the process.

I think that it will b something that will keep us guessing but I think that tryarch is common up with bigger maps than moon n other maps due to there succes in after market of that game. With that said I think the new maps for bop2 will b interesting .

i think they should do a map with monkeys and dogs. So like every five rounds you might get something different. so you have to keep guess what it going to be every five rounds and have dogs you really don’t to do any thing but kill them and get your max ammo but monkeys you have prot your perks from them so they don’t take them. And i would like to see a perk in zombies that duals guns that can’t dual like ray guns and mp5k and the mp40 and M16 that would be BAD ASS. i think it should cost like 3,500 points. And a divice that can change 2x points to 4x points that you get in the mistory box and another divice that just make all the zombies into clawers(that walk on the hands) you get three them like monkeys. you can’t use it on dogs or monkeys. oh and a machine that take two of your guns and turns in to one gun like the ray gun and mustang and sally and you would get a dual pistal ray that fires ray and then explosions on the zombies like mustang and sally do on the zombies. you can still get three guns but you would lose the guns if you trade it out for something else.

I Think they should take all the classic maps like shino, verruhkt and nacht and make them bigger by a one or two rooms and you can then PaP on them. In all honesty shino would be my fav map if it had PaP on it.
I think they should have a variety of game modes, I had a few ideas:
Classic, no perks, no PaP and no dogs/monkeys I feel this will test people.
Hardcore, This is when each player is only allowed to buy one gun,which will replace there starting pistol i think this will will also test people
Standard, The standard black ops zombies basically but, as they are introducing 8 players it will be 2-8 players.
Roulette, This is feel would be class, each players starting room is selected at random, they’re starting weapon is selected at random this could range from anything in the box you could start with a ray gun if your lucky and the amount of points you start with would be picked at random (100, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 3000, 5000.) I believe this would be insane as no game would ever really be the same and it will seperate the pros and then kids and i reckon this could test everyone.
I have come up with a few map ideas:
I think a map in the science labs in antartica would be pretty sick, it could be a bit like discovery. they would have ice walk ways with could destroyed by a grenade something.
I think that a map in the nasa spacestation or something it could be a follow up from moon or something and it would be a really small confined map but you could go outside or something and the space would be vast.
a map in a pyramind in egypt would be pretty cool and the walls could move and make the map change with the use of a button or something and then it make it so perks corned off so they cant be brought or something.
A map in the skyscrapers in tokyo would be cool and you could fall and die if you slip of a bridge made by a bit of metal or something.
I also think they should get rid of perks like that steady aim one i cant remember, stamin-up and double tap. because i see these as pointless and double tap especially a complete waste of money and ammo? and replace them. I thought that they could make a perk that lets you regenerate health quicker after being hit, call it regeneboost or something? A perk where you chuck grenades and specials quicker, the number of times ive been downed trying to chuck a monkey to revive a mate Bandelier Beer? maybe. and a perk that increases the amount of clips your guns have would be pro make it worth like 4500 or something but that would be great in higher rounds.
I feel a ranking system would be ideal where you can prestige and stuff just to show people how good you are and that your not some next noob!

i think treyarch should make a map in a hospital cause it would look so freaken awesome put the zombies with chains on them and more perks an they should put a ak-47 on the zombie mode for reales and new zombies that can be stronger and have a zombie theater a board that would tell u how much zombies are lefted and they should make another map in la that would make black ops even more popular because theirs like so many store u could go in to in la and because theirs more space for the players could run and slaughter zombies well thats what i think what do u treayarch???????????????

I don’t know if any of you have seen what they are building but they are creating a town all I saw was some buildings streets and a trailer but this is what I want in it. I don’t know about you lot but i want this game to be dark scary and surprising. I want long dark thick halls with small torches with small dark spotlights, small corner shops with ammo being sold to you by survivors like in dead rising 2 and a pack-a-punch deep in a building with out switches just the skill and team work to get there, I also want one way escape routes like emergency fire exits that cost like 750 points to get through and you automaticly close the doors after you, and once you get out the zombies have to go around and you have to go around Too to get back in and the zombies to get out. Some hybrid zombies like George Romero when he had his electricity as an element on his side but I want them weaker and more than one a bit like the napalm from shanghai la but not fire and not the big explosion that is overpower’d, I just want a very fast guy a fat and slow zombie that can take a lot of damage let’s say 1/8 the health of g.romero. And that’s pretty strong. I want a juggernaut perk and also a juggernaut suit which could be a perk or a permanent or a buy able and brake able suit which ever would fit better. I want more light machine genes e.g 5 but you get the and upgrade them how you want as you level up, (I’m nearly to the end I have soo many ideas I want on there) I want loads more zombies but I want them weaker and slightly slower so the Hybrid zombies would have more of a difference and you get more fun (it would probably be more suitable for ps4 and the upcoming Xbox) i also want pistols to be more powerfull and have Custom players so you can edit your own or chose from the original character Nikolai Dempsey all them. But what I mean is choose one starting perk e.g. 1 stab per zombie for the whole game (even though it’s 1 stab it still could be good because there’s extra zombies and we all know how hard it is to stab from a big pile) I want a similar mode of far cry 2 when you can make your own map and change the terrain and add the buildings and broken down appliances and walls, admit it will very rarely make an awesome map but admit it would be years of fun. My names Sean_killed_you_ (it’s with or without the last underscope) i still love black ops but I want a game that can last 2 years of fun so I can skip the modern warfare and infinity ward games. Also I’m not finished I want night vision goggles back like from modern warfare 1 in multiplayer and zombies for the dark areas I was talking about. I also want badasses like machete, buffy, freddy, and the awesome guy that cut his hand off in walking dead to stay but as a selection instead or as well as the custom players. I want bad role models for the game so that the parents of extremely under aged kids wouldn’t want them to play. We want a jukebox or a stereo of some sort to add music from your ps3/Xbox to the stereo on BO2 zombies but 1 song at the time, i want grave yards Easter eggs I want the traps back not the rubbish ones of shangri la I want the ones of shi no Nima and der reise at the same time I want to see survivors get mauled by the zombies I don’t want nazi zombies I want Civilian zombies. I want those alien crawlers to get off the zombies they are annoying. I want random jets flying over and helicopters shooting and bombing everything they see and we want to avoid cover while surviving the hordes of zombies thats what would be awesome, I am a big fan of Treyarch games as you can see I am excited for this game, I never play mw anymore nor much other games I just don’t bother with them which is is good thing really.
