Black Ops First Strike Map Pack Hits PC March 25
Treyarch’s Community Manager Josh Olin announced via Twitter today that the PC version of Black Ops will finally get the First Strike map pack later this month. The first batch of Black Ops DLC first struck the Xbox back in February, then the PlayStation 3 earlier this month and finally will land on the PC March 25, just 4 short days away.
The $15 DLC features five maps, four for the shooter’s online multiplayer mode, and another for Zombies mode. You can pre-purchase the First Strike map pack on Steam right now, and receive a 10% discount.

Why is Activision ripping off european customers? The price is 15USD, but in EU its 14EUR. At today’s exchange rate (1.41), 15USD makes out 10,6EUR. I’ve already pre-purchased it, but still, the bad taste remains.

I just don’t see them actually releasing the Mod Tools till MW3 hits. How can they charge for maps, if we can just build our own?? Doesn’t work.

Can’t buy this in retail store…..screw STEAM.
And we shouldn’t be paying for maps anyway, they just held back these from the original release to make more off the gamers!

@ben : totally agree with you ! I will NEVER pas for a 5 maps pack ! with the price of the game already ! And It’s just a shame the price they make in Europe compared to the one in the US, and of course they chek where you’re purchasing !

Spend $15 on 5 maps only 4 of which i’d play… no thx. What happened with the free map packs of back in the day? I can buy a good indy game for that price. You’d think with the cluster F launch they’d just give us the first round for free. I mean it took pc users how long to even find their own servers because of the horrible status the game was in on release?
