Black Ops Escalation Map Pack Coming May 3rd
The first details on Black Ops ‘Escalation‘ map pack – the second instalment of Black Ops DLC – has been leaked via GAME Australia (which has since been pulled). As usual there are four multiplayer maps in the 1200MSP/$15 DLC, and one zombie map. Zoo, Hotel, Convoy and Stockpile are the names of Escalation’s multiplayer maps, ‘Call of the Dead’ being the title of the new zombie map.
The eagle eyed among you may be able to make out some details from the promotional picture below, but what is for sure is that the Escalation map pack will be launching on the Xbox 360 in just under a month on May 3rd.
Keep your eyes peeled for official word from Activision and the obligatory trailer in the coming days/weeks.

Yea i’ve seen it to the wepon turns the zombies in humans again and they help you hold em back for about 30s and then they run away then teleport out of the game!

I have tested the escalation maps out they are amazing the zombie map has to be the best zombie ever they have on the jugganaught sleight of hand quick revive double tap there is three new weapons double macheties double models and a pitch fork + new characters (a girl, a farmer, a crazy dude) the boss is solid to kill but there is an easy way to survive the boss shoot and run and stay away from the water cause he owns and eletic hammer ok the maps cost 1200 microsoft points. But thats just what i think you should buy the maps and test them out im sure you would enjoy them so yeah by guys and i hope this informaion helps

when i was looking in the store on Black ops it said Escalation [FREE] then when i went up it said First Strike Map Pack [1200] so im not very sure if its free or not because it says its free but everybodys saying its 1200 microsoft points

Yes, there are new weapons in the trailer. Looks like there is the possibility of melee weapons (like a pitch fork and large wooden spike for Buffy), dual melee (machetes) and even shows SMG (sarah michelle gellar) doing a flying kick to a zombie’s head.
Unknown if those are all show for the video and not for actual gameplay or not.
Only new regular gun I saw in the video was a dual wield double barrel shotguns (1087′s). The “dezombifier” gun as it’s being called so far looks like a mystery box gun to replace the Thunder Gun / Freeze Gun from the box with a gun that makes zombies back into regular humans. Not sure if you can kill them after that, or you have to wait until they are bitten and become zombies again (part of video shows Machete with dual machete’s killing what look like newly turned zombies that were just human a little while before).
Wish they’d put in some more big guns like M60 and Stoner, and remove the Sniper Rifles unless they make a map to be better suited for sniping (even possible in how Zombie’s plays?)

Yes new weapons two at least which are both upgradable, and one new perk that has to do something with head-shots. No im pretty sure you cant choose your character its not needed enough, but if youre lucky you’ll get the girl i guess.
