Here is the full Call of Duty: Black Ops killstreaks list.
- 3 Kills – Spy Plane: Shows enemies on the mini-map. Can be shot down
- 3 Kills – RC-XD Explosive RC Car: Remote controlled car strapped with explosives
- 4 Kills – Counter Spy Plane: Temporarily disables enemies mini-map
- 4 Kills – SAM Turret: Airdrop a placeable SAM turret that destroys aircraft
- 5 Kills – Care Package: Airdrop a random killstreak or ammo crate
- 5 Kills – Napalm Strike: Airstrike that covers an area in napalm
- 6 Kills – Sentry Gun: Airdrop a placeable Sentry Gun
- 6 Kills – Mortar Team: Target 3 locations to bombard with Mortar Strikes
- 7 Kills – Attack Helicopter: Call in a support helicopter
- 7 Kills – Valkyrie Rockets: Launcher with remote controlled rockets
- 8 Kills – Blackbird: Shows enemy position and direction on the mini-map. Cannot be shot down
- 8 Kills – Rolling Thunder: Carpet bombing airstrike
- 9 Kills – Chopper Gunner: Be the gunner of an attack helicopter
- 11 Kills – Attack Dogs: Attack dogs that hunt the enemy down
- 11 Kills – Gunship: Pilot an attack helicopter

You guys do of course realize that killstreaks don’t stack, right? For example, if you get an RC car kill, it won’t give you a SAM turret.
And I wouldn’t expect getting 11 kills to be an easy task. Making it an 18-20 killstreak would be preposterous.
Anyways, I think I’ll end up using Hardline with RC-XD, Care Package, & Mortar Team quite a lot. But if I’m doing particularly well, I might switch to Mortar Team, Valkyrie Rockets, & Attack Dogs.

They couldnt really put 20 killstreaks in because the kills the killstreaks get you don’t count in this one like they did in previous cods. If your helicopter gets five kills, it doesn’t add to your streak.

i kinda agree. but ive def noticed that its a lot harder for a single person to dominate a match, let alone get a 20 kill streak. I kno ppl can do it, but treyarch made it it difficult to accomplish such high killstreaks (compared to MW2)

I just think these killstreaks will be a nice change from just harriers :/ chopper gunner back but different which is good XD also glad no nukes.. i mean ive only had 4 myself.. but i think itjust cuts the game short which can be annoying specially if your going for non lethal like emp..

The killstreaks are just fine, they should not be higher than 15. Too many players camped to get the nuke in MW2 and it was terrible. So hopefully these will decrease the camping rate.

i agree.in a new update or in a future cod they should have objective streaks. like is your playing a game like domination, say you captured 3 objectives you might get a UAV or spy plane. also captuing objectives should be worth alot more points than kills i think it would put alot more emphasis in playing the game and not just camping the objectives. it would make the games alot more fun and make the teams work together and actually try to win the games, not just go for kills.

i think this game is goana be amazing , i like the fact the killstreaks dont go for other killstreaks… but they say that its for people not to camp but in reality people are going to camp more due to the fact the killstreaks dont help other killstreaks. Im PSYCHED for the RC car, Valkyrie Rockets, (because i loved the javelin in MW2)and then its tied with rolling thunder and napalm. (napalm might win depending on the size of the area effected)
and the controlable heli doesnt hurt at all :p
BTW: since most everyone is really looking forward to the RC Car, what if there is mabye 3 on each team running around at once? I forsee laughs, disappointments, and rage quits in the near future because of them.

I agree on the RC-XD car. Sometimes they really piss me off, like when you have one kill left for chopper gunner and then a tiny little car kills you -,-. That’s why I use Hardline-pro with: Sam Turret, Care Package and Sentry turret. (Hardline-Pro gives you a second chance on getting a killstreak out of a crate. You only need 3-4-5 kills to get amazing killstreaks. The only disadvantage is that you have to wait for them, but mostly you can drop them at your spawn-point.
I like that killstreaks won’t count for other killstreaks. At least now i have a little challenge in getting the Chopper Gunner Killstreak.

True, the tactical insertion is in the game, but it cannot be used in free for all matches. Granted, it still is possible to boost in Team Deathmatch but it is extremely difficult to do so.

The kill streak rewards should have a higher count. id say up to 20 or so. The nuke was a bit much, but since this is during the cold war when a lot of biological warfare was being created, it’d be awesome for like a 18-20 kill streak reward that would release a nerve agent that would lower health and speed for players for the rest of the game. Regardless, this game is going to be the game of the year and the urinehate that the killstreaks don’t stack. I’ll admit I liked to camp in MW2 because I liked getting the big killstreak rewards – and honestly I’m 40 and I don’t have the reflexes it takes to run and gun. Having said that, I also moved around – each map had about 4-5 places that I would move to during a match.
To me, that’s what made it such addictive game play, MUCH more fun than any Halo matchmaking experience.
I saw an interview with Treyarch that said they are hoping this discourages camping. Why discourage it? I’ve been the victim of many a camper and I’m cool with it. If I can – I’ll go get them. If, I can’t then I just avoid that area.

how do you use killstreaks on two player plitscreen offline, as i have played blackops with my mate and he can use killstreak rewards but i cant use them, i can go onto the killstreak menu but cant select them, any help?

Haha guys, i jumped into Black ops with no knowledge of anything. I play Cod:MW-1 never MW-2. I bought Black Ops last night with only a glimpse of Zombie mode which is why i bought it.
I jumped right into Multiplayer only to get my ass hole gored over and over time and time again. Its almost as if the other players knew about every step i took, what room i was in, and when i took a breath. I might as well have been fighting weaponless. I was caught offgaurd when an rc cap pulled up behind me and blew me another ass hole. It was classic.
I dont know if the people playing Black ops are better because the hardcore games are the first ones to buy it and level up so fast and purchase the new items, but in MW-1 i was pretty damn good.
So far in Black ops, i felt like ive gone through reverse puberty and had my testicles remove and been given a bay rattle. Im sure ill be able to compete as i get better guns and perks and attachments.

if you want the game to be real,the military doesn’t run around and get killed they have strategies,when you are running around you are a easy pick for the guys who have the sense to sit and wait,in real life the army with the most deaths is likely the loser so the whole point is to have more kills than deaths,if you run around like a moron you deserve to get killed by a camper

Treyarch did good making sure that Killstreaks didn’t stack. People are still hitting the high killstreaks but at a much better ratio.
In MW2 I was getting Harrier, Pavelow and AC-130 every game and sometimes reaching AC-130 twice a game.
It was a little silly.

Hello there! I am a huge fan of Black Ops. I just prestiged for the first time and have discovered, to my horror, that my killstreak rewards no longer work. I have the default equipped: Spy Plane, Care Package and Attack Helicopter. Whenever I am on a streak, none of them appear. No “Spy Plane ready to deploy”, etc. I purchased different ones and equipped them to see if they’d work – but no luck. They don’t show up in my HUD and I have nothing to deploy when I earn them. It works in Combat Training though. Has anything like this happened to you? Were you able to work around it? I’d be interested in your responses. Thank you very much.

It isnt a killstreak, but idk where i should post this… I think there needs to be a Compass along the “Mini-Map” Some maps arent well known by everyone, and its hard to let your team know where the enemies are located. That is why I recommend adding a compass… very minor but it would help alot! Thanks.

you should add more killstreak rewards on black ops and during the the killstreak rewards Mortar Team should be update to a nuclear bomb and have a 10 second countdown to explosion during the game
