Black Ops Killstreaks Ideas
Call of Duty’s Killstreak Rewards are manually activated “bonuses” that players are awarded for stringing together a certain number of kills without dying. First introduced by Infinity Ward in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and used in all CoD games since, rewards range from a simple UAV, a pack of blood thirsty dogs (World at War) or even player controlled versions like an AC130 Gunship (Modern Warfare 2).
It’s rumored that Black Ops Killstreak Rewards will be stackable like they are in Modern Warfare 2, but kills earned with Killstreak Rewards won’t count towards the kills needed for the next Killstreak Reward. Therefore, eliminating the ‘camping for killstreaks’ problem. More on that when we know for sure.

i think there should be a k.s where have infinity equipment for 20 seconds i think 7 kills is just right and u should be able to set killstreaks to your custom class’s

these are all pretty awesome kill streak ideas but if they we’re to add all of those it would be just too much and too chaotic. my head would probably explode choosing what to buy.

there need to be a damn killstreak higher than 11.. thats f**ked up. I mean c’mon, everybody’s seen people on youtube get killstreakless nukes like its the easiest thing. There needs to be a killstreak distinction between the good and the bad players. Because people like hutch and seananners are gonna get bored easily.. Im not saying bring the nuke back, but there needs to be something more rewarding than 11..

Its much harder to attain a higher killstreak now considering that kills attained from killstreak rewards do not count towards further killstreak rewards. So in Modern Warfare you might have been able to get a nuke lets say using the set up – Predator Missle -> Harrier Strike -> AC130. Theoretically you could have gotten about 11 kills yourself and then have the killstreaks gain the other 9 kills for you. For example, 2 from the predator drone, 3 from the harrier strike, and 5 from the AC130. Realistically many of the people got even fewer than 11 kills on their own and had the killstreaks make up most of the work for them. So getting 11 kills on your own without dieing (and without the kills of your killstreak rewards counting) is not as easy as it seems.

9 killstreak Mini-Jet: control a fast moving jet around the battlefield that can shoot semi-explosive rounds. much like the rounds the chopper gunner from MW2 uses except smaller blast radius. The aerial counterpart to the RC car you could say

what do u guys think about the undrbelly flamethrower becoming more op and becoming a killstreak? i mean do u guys rly want marathon lightweight ninja people with flamethrowers? i suggest u watch the youtube video that shows the flamethrower in action b4 this, its basically a 1 shot kill with triple the distance of knifing with commando, plus its got plenty of ammo, 3 canisters, u could easily get 2-3 kills with each canister

also keep in mind that it will likely not show up on radar so ur gonna have lightweight marathon ninjaz with OP flame throwers that are gonna sneak up behind u and melt ur face off (kinda difficult since they are behind u but im sure they’ll manage)

Killstreaks:
Acid Trip – Converts your Special Grenades into hallucinogenic gas grenades causing the enemy to trip balls for 15 seconds rendering them completely and utterly useless while they fire aimlessly at the many versions of you that now appear in front of them. Cured with the Perk ‘Antidote’ of which the Pro version would give you ‘Adrenaline’ therefore being hit with an ‘Acid Trip’ whilst having ‘Antidote Pro’ would enable you to move quicker, fire faster and jump higher for 15 seconds.
Recording Studio – This killstreak will bombard the enemy with era specific musical greats such as, Exile “Kiss You All Over” or perhaps the Gloria Gaynor classic “I will survive” or ever Roberta Flack’s wrist slitter “Killing Me Softly”, to really demotivate the opposition. There is no counter for this, as the music will be played at 3x that of the enemy’s own gunfire the player will have but two options, turn down the sound thus eliminating their ability to ‘soundw***e’ or simply leave the volume as it is and risk anyone in their home to start questioning their sexuality.

the game is unrealistic enough as it is, A bomb would just be taking it too far. you dont go around dropping A bombs on ur own soldiers cuz it magically makes u win….and dont gimmi the well we are the americans nuking part of iraqistan or w.e cuz half the time ur playing as the iraqistanians so half the time u would be droppin an A bomb on ur own soldiers in ur own territory….not smart, not realistic, and not fun to see people trying to boost for it.

i guess the killstreaks are decent, they could add some more cool killstreaks that would somehow cost a highish amount of in-game money just so there is a point in having in-game money after you’ve unlocked and bought your favorite weapons *cought* noobtoob and grenade launcher *cough*

hey guys i think this would be a great killstreak to add in the b2-sprit yea i kno im not talking bout the one from mw2 this one u could fly it around the map dropping bombs on certain parts of the map and it flys at mach 5 so it would be impossible to see it it should require a 15 killstreak

Guys, you’re not gonna get you’re 7, 9, and 11 KS so easily. Remeber..KS don’t stack. So instead of being that MW2 try-hard kill w***e..be a team player. Get your SAM turrent, Spy Plane, Country Spy Plane, and Blackbird first.

ok i’ve seen too many idiots saying “7 killstreak – Harrier Stike” are you guys a bunch of r****ded idiot, Black Ops takes place during the Cold War and Vietnam war (around 1970) it’s impossible to have a Harrier, the first Harrier in service was released in 1981, therefor, it’s historically incorrect to have a Harrier. and a lot of people asked for a Pave Low, yes it was on service, but it was an extremly overpowered killstreak so Treyarch got rid of it AND for the people asking for AC-130, I agreed with you all I don’t understand why they didn’t put it in the killstreak rewards.

i think personally there should atleast be alittle more then eleven. i understand the fact that the K.S. dont help ther K.S. but itd be nice to atleast have a 13 killsteak or so. Maybe a Tank or so. And all those people need to remember during the Cold War or wheneever this took place i really dont believe that there were AC-130′s. im not to sure though. just a idea.

All kill streaks are good and I like the “camping for kills” is out, there was just too many Harriers, AC-130 and Choppers in MW2. They need soilders that go suicidal like banzi. They should also put in a 3 person humvee. One driver, 1 side gunner that sits out the side and shooting, and a machine gunner. But I think this game will live up to its standards.

They should make juggernauts come back as a killstreak in black ops. At a 17 killstreak juggernauts would parachute onto the map and fight for you. And I thought about it and now I think that nuke killstreak should only be a 13 killstreak since it only kills everybody once and a 16 killstreak if fallout comes after it and keeps killing people.

Put more than just an 11 k.s required! make the k.s that require more kills need more kills but be able to call in the grim reaper/death machine as a normal killstreak. I would say tank at around 15 kills, but if ya go on nuketown it would be impossible to use. Possibly a more armoured helicopter as 15? dont bring nuke back ! that was boring

1. BodyArmor= being able to be more explosive resistant as well as blocking the next fatal headshot.

3. getting an AI bot to follow you around till either you die or it dies before leaving you.
