Here is the full Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer maps list. There are 14 maps in total, of all types of sizes and location variations are catered for. Click each link to get a birds eye view of the map.
- Array – Large snow covered landscape. Good medium to long range fighting.
- Cracked – Streets of Vietnam. Large map, well balanced for Search & Destroy.
- Crisis – Cuban base. Medium size, ideal for indoor and outdoor battles.
- Firing Range – Small Military practice facility. Hectic Domination games.
- Grid - Small Russian power grid. Plenty of tactical spots for fighting.
- Hanoi – NVA prison camp. Medium size, excellent for Headquarters matches.
- Havana - Medium size Cuban city. Filled with tactical street fights.
- Jungle – Large map set deep in the Vietnam jungle. Great vertical gameplay.
- Launch – Medium size, close quarters map set on space launch facility. Perfect for any game mode.
- Nuke Town – Small Nuclear testing grounds. Fast-paced action on a small map.
- Radiation – Medium size abandoned power station. A well balanced map for any play style.
- Summit – Research facility on a snowy mountain. Fight from all angles. Medium size.
- Villa – Medium size urban estate. Good corridors for long range firefights.
- WMD – An old Soviet base. Intense Capture the Flag matches. Medium size.
First Strike Map Pack
- Berlin Wall – takes place at Checkpoint Charlie, a commonly-known crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War.
- Discovery – a arctic-based map that takes place in a snow-riddled German research station.
- Kowloon – based on a single player mission, obviously set in China.
- Stadium – hockey rink/sports complex set in North America.
Escalation Map Pack
- Hotel – Set on the roof of a Cuban luxury hotel and casino against the vivid backdrop of old Havana.
- Convoy – delivers intense, close-quarters combat at the scene of an ambushed US military convoy.
- Zoo – takes you on a wild ride in an abandoned Soviet Russian Zoo, with danger at every turn.
- Stockpile – pits players in a remote Russian farm town housing secret WMD facilities.
Annihilation Map Pack
- Hangar 18 - located in the highly classified military base of Area 51.
- Drive-In – close quarters combat through a 60′s American Drive-In theater.
- Silo – infiltrate a massive secret Soviet nuclear missile site in this multilevel battleground.
- Hazard – play through this coastal golf course on the cliff sides of Cuba.

i think they should have the darker maps like everyone says because then people actually have a use for nightvision not like cod4 where even in the raining ship map (cant remem name) it didnt help too much. so yea my opinion =] add me my gamertag is mr clawzy mmight start a crossbow mainly clan =]]]]]]]]]]]]

I Feel like the MAPS do not allow for much sniping like they did in MW2… IN MW2 you had long farways… grassy cover… and the capability to use the true range of the sniping class, were as in Black Ops i have yet to find any map that compares to mw2. I feel that sniping has come to a sad end since MW2.

Best map is Nuketown, hands down. Every time it shows up on the voting screen it wins.
The worst map is WMD though, that is 100% for campers which sucks.

nuketown is great but firing range is pretty good too. Array is awesome if u can find the right place to shoot from.

in my opinion i think nuketown is the best map so far simply for the fact thats its more fast pace then the rest because the map is so small meaning that everywhere u turn your either killing someone or getting killed..lol the larger maps seem kinda boring because u spend alot more time either searching for people to kll or camping to wait for people. summit is also pretty good there is alot more action in both these place expecially if you are trying to level up the small mnaps mean more kills and a all around more fun game

The best maps for TDM, Domination and Search and Destroy are:

I really like the quality of all of the maps that you now have available. If you could please contact me when you have posted the newer maps, that would be great! Our clan is starting to use these layouts to come up with strategies for objective type game modes. Keep up the good work, look forward to seeing the new map layouts soon.

Grid is the best map by FAR. Its a simple 1 level map except for the 2 buildings. It is a relatively open area which is perfect for fast paced gunfights and you can use any weapon in an effective manner.

I used MW2 maps because they are more recent, and let’s face it. Less people played WaW than MW2. More people are familiar with those maps.

Night maps would be great, to see a few of the most popular maps on the game turn into night for goggle use, as well as some completely new night/day maps. I think this might be thermal scope heaven though…
