Call of Duty: Black Ops Mythbusters Episode 3
The third installment (check out episode 1 here, 2 here) of the Call of Duty: Black Ops mythbusters series from Defend The House is now live. Episode 3 puts another seven of their favorite myths and the most asked Black Ops questions to the test, often with surprising results.
- You can survive a fall by landing on another player?
- You can kill yourself with a Tomahawk?
- Mortars can destroy aircraft?
- You can stick explosive bolts to care packages?
- You can kill yourself with a SAM Turret?… If it hits a wall?
- Smoke and Gas Grenades disappear in puddles?
- You can shoot down the rocket on Launch?

You guys need to try a water landing on Jungle. I dove off the sniper ledge head towards “B” and landed on my stomach in the water and survived. I had ghost pro and hacker pro….. so I should have died. Can you bust my MYTH?????

Some “myths” I have:
1) You can bounce ballistic knives at shallo angles
In Nuketown, you can shoot through the glass (and kill a player) of the bus, but not the red truck with the L96
2) Tomahawks can bounce 4+ times
3) Grenades fired from grenade launchers can bounce and kill someone (China lake, i.e.)
4) A “Hind” can be taken down with a ballistic knife
5) Nova gas goes through walls
6) The L96 can go through 2 walls without Hardened
7) In demo, you can plant the bomb on top of the objective (the thing you bomb)
9) A spy plane can be taken down with a crossbow

From now on Im gonna try to shoot enemy packages with crossbows. Can u kill an enemy with SAM turret? (imagine it as final killcam:D)

Heres a good myth.
You can destroy a valkiere with a flamethrower undermount.
You can shoot down a gunship with the grenade launcher undermount.
You can’t destroy a RC/XD with a flamethrower.

1) There is a maximum amount of each turret type in a game session
2) Blowing up an enemy attack chopper next to yours would blow them both up
3) Diving from the window in Array onto B wouldn’t kill you (without Lightweight Pro)

This is really good. I especially love the crossbow on the care package though admittedly I don’t think I would have the accuracy with a crossbow to make the shot.
