Call of Duty: Black Ops Wager Match Trailer
Here is the trailer for a brand-new feature announced today at the Black Ops multiplayer reveal event that lets you gamble your hard-earned Call of Duty Points – Multiplayer Wager Match.
- One in the chamber: Everyone has just a pistol with one bullet and three lives. If you kill someone you get a bullet.
- Sticks and stones: You have crossbows and ballistic knives plus a tomahawk. If a player is killed with a tomahawk they go bankrupt.
- Gun Game: A series of progressive weapons, from pistol to shotgun to sniper rifle, granted to the player after kills. First one to progress through the weapons wins. If you get knifed you get reset a level.
- Sharpshooter: Everyone uses the same randomly selected weapon and unlocks perks per kill. Unlock a better gun with each kill…and lose a “level/gun” with each death.

hell yea those 2 are the best. gun game i think is the worst because if in the 20 wepons what if u suck with a couple of them. anyway sticks and stones here i come. time to take money from noobs.

very. i love pistols in all cod’s, in waw and in mw2 i actually had classes dedicated to only using pistols until i ran outta ammo and HAD to switch to my primary lol.

i doubt that this will be much better that MW2, i mean i prefer treyarch over infinity ward, but they basically look like the same games, only difference is that Treyarch makes better maps than infinity ward, i even prefer W@W gameplay over MW2 anyday of the week LOL

exactly.. everything else looks awesome, (maps, gameplay, weapons, game modes etc) BUT the graphics for the soldiers looks bad.. not as realistic as the soldiers in mw2. pause the video when you see a soldier running, shooting, knifing etc the graphics look too cartoony.. comon its 2010!
Trey Arch put more effort into everything else AND forgot about the graphics.. seriously.. a massive company like Trey Arch.. i hope they still working on making it as awesome as how much wait and hype ther is for black ops at the moment and in the coming months.. its going to be huge soi hope they still working on imroving the graphics etc and what we saw was a working progress that IS still a working progress not the completed version. coz i cant call it a masterpiece after watching that video..

wager looks f**king awesome. now players like myself who generally win in free for all type games actually get something good out of it, instead of just a slightly higher match bonus for doing well, we get all your f**king points lol

i have this information from twitters from people playing the game at the conference:
tier 1 perks: Lightweight (same as mw2), scavenger (same as mw2), ghost, Flak jacket, hardline (probs same as mw2)
tier 2 perks: Hardened, scout, steady aim (same as mw2), sleight of hand (same as mw2), warlord (apparently this is the bling of mw2).
tier 3 perks: marathon (either same as mw2 or extreme conditioning, ninja (same as dead silence apparently, second chance (last stand?), hacker, tactical mask.
there is no stopping power
or juggernaut 
there is pro perks.!
sleight of hand pro i think is the same. lightweight pro i think is the same. i dont no what scavenger pro is..maybe same?

This game looks terible and looks just like MW2 just with lots of bad stuff and some good stuff like the replay. The Anmation looks worse and every one is going to hate this game after a few months after it comes out just like WAW, MW2.

This is what makes Black Ops the most unfair shooter on the planet; once you’ve been killed you have next to no chance of winning. Wager matches will be dominated by a few hardcore players, and the rest will be left in the dust. Good job Treyarch…
