Anyone that complains about Snipers is because they get owned by them….. I like to use snipers and your all acting like Sniping is the mayor problem in MW2.
there are noobtubes, Spraying LMGS fags OMA Fags RPG Fags There are many,many, many! overpowered weapons in Mw2 and you complain about a sniper that kills in 1 Shot… I Hardscope, Quickscope and No Scope but
I also Use SMGS MPK5 is beast and the old MP5 too and assault rifles
but mostly Snipers so…
QUICKSCOPE is still alive just is going 2 be like COD4 but with better hit detection so… Try 2 resist a 7.62x51mm round

I HATE snipers but I must agree that they aren’t overpowered. I only don’t like them because I don’t like camping so I don’t use them, plus I hate campers so I hate getting sniped. But, I don’t think they’re overpowered. In fact, I think they’re underpowered. A hit marker with a bullet to the chest, wtf?

Snipers should kill you in one shot. A barrett 50 cal is an anti tank/vehicle gun, if you shoot someone with the thing their body will be blown to bits

well dude with slight of hand pro it makes quickscoping 3 times as easy i do admit it is still hard to run around with a bolt action while others have automatics but i honestly like cod4 sniping more if the hit detection was better i would play that game more than mw2 because it actually takes skill to play cod4 instead of lunging across the map with commando and getting ac130 and choppergunners in carepackets

In fact, the snipers in CoD4 and MW2 are extremely underpowered. You should not get a hitmarker with a Sniper unless you hit them near the toes in your foot or something. Maybe in the leg, but not that likely. They just either need to remove hitmarkers, or make the snipers stronger than they were in CoD4 and MW2. From what I saw, they have.

I honestly thought they were going to use the Remington version of the rifle given that the M40 was brand new then. I was very disappointed with the selection of sniper rifles in MW2, I was hoping for like seven rifles and only got 4. I’m glad they are putting the L96 in there, I’m not a big fan of British weapons, but that rifle deserves some video game time. I’m hoping for at least two more rifles to be put in. Maybe like a single shot bolt action so it requires even more skill.

Yea I see what you mean about the L96. The L96 is an awesome sniper (I played Counter-Strike, and I liked it there. In Counter-Strike it’s known as the AWP because of the AW part of L96AW), but yea. I’m gonna have lots of fun with that sniper.

and special ops teams tended to have weapons years before renown, while they were in prototype stages, the AUG for example, in black ops, is not the HBAR, its the A1, first introduced to austrian troops in 1980, and in 1980, it was still in prototype stages, officially introduced to american and austrian armies in 1989, call of duty is known for having guns from different eras in it, the M1 garand is in black ops.

The ray gun was never officially invented, it failed horribly during German tests, along with the wonder waffle. Only reason those are in there, is because it’s zombies, and zombies doesn’t count. Yes, spec ops get weapons before their time, but the A3 wasn’t even being tested back then, the A1 was, but that’s not the one that made it into the game, it’s the regular M40, hence why it says M40 and not M40A1-A3. The AUG is more than one weapon, all of which have different names. This one is the assault rifle, Steyr AUG, which is also featured in Bad Company 2. It was also introduced during the early 1970′s, which was during the cold war era stuff. The M1 Garand is NOT in CoD7, don’t know where you got that it was. PLEASE start doing yer research, it’s getting old looking like the only smart one

The snipers in COD4 was fine. I was ok with it but in MW2 the 100% mobility of the sniper rifles and the maps where geared to the sniper. Anyone ever try to carry a barret 50 cal? it weights 40+ lbs with no attachments or ammo.
I would like to see weight to be a factor in the game. if you are loaded down with a flak jacket, heavy machine gun and extra ammo you should be slowed down where if you have aMP5K with low body armor then you should be faster, but easier to kill.

There is a weight factor in the games. without marathon and lightwieght in mw2 you still run alot faster with an mp5 than an l86 for example. i know it is not accurate but think about it. running that much slower than someone with an smg would make sniping no fun.
when you think about it, alot of stuff in the game is not accurate. i mean, not being able to kill someone 20 yards away with a shotgun is very innacurate

By your reasoning 90% of the aspects of the game should be taken out because it’s “not realistic.” If you haven’t noticed absolutely nothing in Call of Duty has ever been remotely close to realistic. Marathon, One Man Army, the blast radius of all explosives, Commando, surviving a .50 caliber bullet, picking up equipment off the body of an enemy who didn’t have the specific piece of equipment, respawning, any killstreaks other than maybe a UAV, and much much more.
So you can either gather up all the inconsistencies in the Call of Duty series and just b***h about everything, or you can shut up and come to terms with the fact that it is a game. I for one don’t understand why snipers being mobile is even a problem?

Sniping is ridiculous fun to me, I play nothing but hardcore so sniping is more balanced since you just have to hit them once but I also like the traditional ways of timing the shot and working for the accuracy. Quickscoping was coined by idiots, but its always been a factor in any war game in some form or another. I remember MOHAA playing in sniper only lobbies. No camping then.
Any good accurate sniper should be able to take on an mg or shotgun 1 on 1, whether that’s qs or no scoping. Its about accuracy and speed, and it takes skill.
It takes more skill to qs than it does to sit in a bush all game, and its a little less campy too.

my complaint about sniping is that any r****ded twelve year old kid thinks he can snipe and thus spends the whole game trying to quickscope and no scope so he can post it on his youtube channel for his 23 subscribers. i wouldnt mind when people snipe and stuff, its just the ‘attitude’ associated with it and the fact that when im trying to play a game of search and destroy or domination i would rather have someone trying to go for objectives than jumping off of rooftops and spinning around like a moron. in my experience MOST snipers just camp or quick scope or both and never go for objectives or play with the team

Um snipers WERE a problem in mw2 becuz slight of hand made them sooo overpowered. cod4 snipesr wernt cheap and u had to have at least a bit of skill to use. so snipers were NOT fair in mw2 since they killed faster than smgs and assualt rifles from any range. with any noob handling them

Uh well, in World at War you had the gas grenade (Tabun Gas – basically the same except Nova will hurt people as well as mess up their vision), the PSG, Flak Jacket, flamethrowers, etc. It’s more like they combined elements of COD4, W@W and MW2 with a slew of new features.

MW2 left quicksopers with a horrible rep, but going back to the CoD4 days – where it took some skill to kill someone quickscoping because of no SoH Pro – quickscoping was just to have fun, and was a massive disadvantage in most scenarios.

A whilly Pete grenade is not a smoke grenade its an Incendiary grenade. Its called a whilly Pete cos its White Phosphorus or “WP”.

Generally you’re right, but they did say in a couple interviews it would cause damage. Some assumed that meant the smoke itself will harm you slightly but if you watch the video on Youtube with the Spectre, you’ll see he throws a smoke at the beginning and there is a white burst. Might have a slight incendiary effect if you’re right next to the burst.

Thought I’d add that the site is missing a submachine gun, the OTs-02 Kiparis.
It has currently been seen with the Dual Wield attachment. The OTs-02 Kiparis is unlocked by buying all the other submachine guns.
The site is also missing a light machine gun, the Stoner 63 (or, its proper name(s) XM22/E1).
The Stoner 63 is a light machine gun that is seen in Sharpshooter gameplay in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
And yet another missing gun, a shotgun by the name of Stakeout (altho I’m not sure of it’s proper name, not even wiki seems to find a shotgun by the name/nick name of Stakeout)

With the weapons the only thing I would like to see is a selector switch. Since the guns have become customizable then why not the rate of fire. Either simi auto (single shot) or full auto/burst. You could have some guns have burst or full auto. If you really wanted to change it up all assault rifles would have all 3. the sub machine guns could be all three. LNGs would only be full auto and shot guns would not be selectable.

Reflex is a different format for a red dot sight, different shape but you still get the custom reticule. Snub nose is a short barrel for a revolver – not sure what it does but would assume it’s the same thing as “sawed off” for the Elmer Fudd / double barrel shotgun, so basically makes it do incredible damage but the range is crap.

Alright, I know where you’re getting at. “Tac inserts ruined MW2 cause of boosters.” But good news. I heard that tac inserts are disabled in FFA to stop boosting. I also heard that unlike MW2, boosters are banned. Lastly, there is no more point to boosting. Instead of “Go get 250 headshots to unlock this camo” it’s “kill x people to get x currency ro buy this camo.” I think in Black Ops, the people who boost are gonna be noobs that can’t get kills, not the show off fall camo intervention quickscopers like in Modded Warfail 2.

the grenade launcher attachment is the most expensive one but if you look at the killstreak reward list, in the top right corner you will see that he has 25000+ cr and is level 26, he either did a lot of wager mode or cr is easy to attain or he is a game tester and can have as many credits as he wants.

omg guys i never said that i get owned by tubes lmgs and other stuff cuz they dont own me i own them but they kill me with those guns iknow lmgs are excellent when used properly i cant said nothing for tubes lol and what my KDR is 1.46 that doesn’t mean i camp cuz i dont and that doesn’t make me a singler player that doesn’t get objectives in most of the matches my team use tubes and camp and i still get higher kills and lower deaths and i have 2 catch the objectives and i will say its easier to quickscope in MW2 than in cod4 but it doesn’t make QS unskilled and anyone can do it in mw2? yes they can but they dont get the kills its easy just 2 aim and then shoot but hitting the target? of course its hard and i didnt said you guys get owned idk if you do but ik some1s here do…. and dont think that every QS is a 12 year old boy. the ones that are good dont fail in S&D so you know when someone its good or not its the same with all other weapons in MW2 except noobtubes xD
