well in order to get the ray gun, u go into a zombies match and go to the random weapon box (varies in position on different maps) and pay 950points, and if youre lucky enough youll get the ray gun.

you should use flap jacket (hate calymores, rc-xd’s or getting naded it great to have) or ghost (no class can completely counter it
claymores are the best annoying to get killed by but doesnt make you a camper i always put one down and go somewhere else or just to have my back

The equipment is DEFINITELY NOT just for campers…. When I am crouched going slowly around corners or objects because I know someone is there, I always put a claymore behind me (near an object or a corner/turn), that way I know no one is sneaking behind me and can take my time creeping up on someone. I never camp, and I love claymores!!

I suggest either the famas, commando, galil, or the ak47 with a suppressor attachment. Perks Ghost, sleight of hand pro, either hacker second chance pro, or ninja for the last perk. killstreaks carepackage,chopper/blackbird, attack dogs. i average 38 or more kills in headquarters with these classes! btw Xbox is the ish! add me on there.Clutchman Clan!

Eh. The G11 is ok for quick sniping with the variable zoom scope. The low-power scope isn’t even worth it. What’s nice about it is the high ammunition capacity and the fact that you don’t really need a secondary weapon to defend yourself while sniping since it’s accuracy is also very good. Personally, I prefer the G11, AUG, Galil (Similar to the AK, but more ammo), Spectre, and the Stoner63. I usually use Warlord or Sleight of Hand, Scavenger, and marathon or Ninja. I also favor the CZ75 with most attachments. Finally, I like the Tactical Insertion, Claymore, or the Jammer (Nuketown or sniping only).

You are all foolish, there is no such thing as a “perfect class.” It depends on the player and how they like to play. The best gun for people is sometimes the first one the M16. So if the class works for you great, but it may not work for others.

my FAVORITE killstreak set is Spy Plane(3) Black Bird(8) the Gunship(11) or attack dogs(11) the reason this is my favorite is because when you get an easy spy plane you know where all your opponents are so you should get near 6 or 7 killz maybe even 8 then you use black bird and u are guarenteed a 11 killstreak

i think that the commando is a better version than the m16 they changed the barrel and the stock to make it les powerfull but better handle. I love this gun they should have made it where you got it sooner then level 44 and only have it for 6 levels that sucks!

pm63 is the best pwning gun.Its like 40 damage points medium range and 35
damage points far range and 60 damage points close range.I am telling u this is serious stuff

Burst weapons like the M16 and the Famas and the Rafica are crap, with slight of hand if they pull the trigger on you your toast. Even a Scar or AK takes at least 2 seconds to kill unless its a head shot. If its a head shot you deserve the instant kill.

You might like the G11, it has a very quick burst, saw in a video the guy kills three people within a couple seconds because the burst is so fast it’s like an automatic. Plus it has a big ammo capacity.

Couldnt agree more, the only good use in three burst guns is the accuracy/power making it a one burst kill. But most fully auto assult rifles are three shot kills, so theres not really much difference between the two types.
Now single shot guns. theres a whole other area. FAL was a complete fail, on the most part the only people who used it had modded pads, but the select few who diddnt, should have found it to be good and accurate. ONE SHOT KILL IF HEADSHOT!

But the burst was 40-30 damage. Which is 3 bullets. If you were to make them fully automatic, it would still be 3-4 bullets to kill. Like the UMP, Scar and such.. They were 3 bullets too. The Raffica M93 was broken. It’s just as strong as the M16 :/

I don’t know what game you were playing… Both the Scar and the AK47 take 2 bullets to kill with stopping power close-medium range, and 3 bullets without stopping power. So lets see, the Scar has a fire time of .095 second between bullets, so theoretically you could drop someone in that time if your aim is decent (you would have put out 2 bullets in that time). Percent error in your statement that it takes 2 seconds is (2-.095)/.095 *100% = 2005.26%
moral of the story is: all the weapons are overpowered, so it doesn’t matter what people use.

Unless your trying to do it from across the map(which in that case you should be using a sniper anyway),in COD4 the M16 could kill in one burst without stopping power. Of course this does not take in COD4s terrible hit detection.

I use the M16 without stopping all the time and still achieve one burst kills, same for the famas and raffica. It’s called aiming for the chest and higher. So their still just as powerful as they are without stopping power (which makes it a stomach up one burst kill)

To be honest with you guys, I hate Uzi. Mostley, because of its movement when firing, and its low damage. Even if you put grip on it, You’ll just end up shooting at the sky. Anyways, I use AK74u, With Red Dot (Circle with Arrows, Teal) and Rapid fire. As a secondary, I use CZ75, Upgraded iron sight. Then, Sticky n’ stun. As perks, I use: 1 Scavenger pro, Warlord pro, and Second chance/Hacker. Hacker for Hardcore Search And Destroy. My second class for Team Deathmatch (Hardcore or core) Is: G11, Red camo, Secondary is Python, Speed reloader, And Sticky n’ smoke. Perks are Hardline pro, Hardend pro, and Ninja Pro. My least favorite class is: Uzi, with ACOG and Flora camo, Secondary is crossbow, And it would have Frag n’ Decoy. Perks would be Lightweight, Steady Aim, And Tactical Mask.

7.62 is just the bullet width and has nothing to do with the power. They make 7.62×25 pistol bullets. Your logic is flawed. 7.62 does not equal power. Now if you said anything in 7.62 x 54 or x 39, I might agree.

The only people who say the FAL was a failure are the people who can’t use it properly or didn’t take the time to learn how. It will fire as fast as you can tap, and a quick trigger finger can easily rival automatics.
I’ll use it and the M14 in Black Ops heavily. At least then I don’t have to worry about getting Commando’d from ten miles away.

Agreed, in the hands of a skilled player the FAL rifle was on of the most deadliest guns in the game, specially for medium/long range. Too bad I couldn’t witness it’s full glory since I stopped playing the horrible piece of s**t called MW2. Oh well, can’t wait for the M14 and FAL in Black Ops.

Well, mostly only idiots can’t tell the difference between a guy shooting fast and a modded controller. Idiots will always make up excuses for why they fail, I’ve had people telling me I’m a juggernaut noob when I wasn’t using juggernaut, called me a camper when I rushed a team three times and killed every team member, told that I was using a noob gun when I was using silenced G36.
A modded controller will fire fast in a consistent rate, always. A person firing fast will not fire consistently fast, eventough how fast his tringer finger is. Fire rate for me will vary from time to time depending on the situation, most times I’ll fire very fast(still not perfectly consistent unlike a mod), sometimes I’ll double and sometimes fire in bursts.
Anyway, an idiot will often tell you have a mod eventhough you have killed him several times with variation in fire consistency. I couldn’t care less.

Shut the f**k up you dumb faggot. The community complained for a reason, and complaining alone doesn’t wreck a good balanced game. There will always be hackers, but that wasn’t the biggest issue with Modern Warfail 2, the biggest complains with MW2 were the perks and killstreaks.
Let me list some of the main reason the game is an unbalanced peace of s**t:
The noob perks:
1) Teleporting commando, once the enemy has you within lunge range(4-7 meters) your f**ked. Doesn’t matter how many bullets you put in him, they will all glitch out. It’s MODERN WARFARE 2, not Ninja Gaiden 2. Endless sprint didn’t make it better.
2) OMA + DC, infinite noobtubes with extra damage? Yes please.
3) Killstreaks stacks up. Getting a nuke from a 7th killstreak? Yes please. Harrier, chopper-gunner, nuke and players who don’t shoot down airsupport = no-skilled nuke.
4) Nuke, a game ending killstreak is so f**king stupid it has to be mentioned again.
5) Shotguns as secondary. Oh you stupidly choose to be a sniper in a small close-quarters map and you’re getting owned? Don’t worry, in MW2 you can just pull out a shotgun from your asshole.
6) The UMP, almost as bad as the MP40 from World at War. What does the UMP have in commom with the FAL and AK47? At longer distances they have the same damage of 30. A f**king sub-machine gune having the same damge as the FAL?? Check Den Kirson for weapon stats.
7) Assault rifles having less sway and recoil than COD4, let’s make it more scrub friendly. Yay!
There are several more resons and balancing issues but I’m just mentioning the biggest ones.
You must be one of the scrubs taking advantage of these flaws and therefor you think MW2 is good. I pitty you, pathetic imbecile.

have u ever seen a ak wound? its defantly bigger than a m16. 5.56 makes clean wounds the 7.62 sort of bounces around and leaves horrible exit wounds.

When a bullet has more width then it also has more mass, which contributes to the momentum needed to penetrate the body. Also, remember its higher newtons per square unit, which can make for a very ugly wound, not a clean penetration.

It doesn’t ‘bounce around’ at all. In fact, I don’t think there is any bullet in existence that can bounce around within it’s target, regardless of what Max Brooks tells you. The reason the AK-47 leaves such an ugly wound because it fires a large, heavy, and slow round. When it impacts it tumbles slightly (May be that bouncing bit you were talking about) and exits accordingly. Because it’s so heavy and so slow it hits a lot harder, opposed to most 5.56 rifles, the M-16 in this case, where the round goes right through the target. This may seem a little rant-ey, and for that I’m sorry, but it just miffs me when people go on about things like guns, ammunition, etc. You could call me an armchair commando, I guess, as I’ve a large interest in the subject.

you have ur info backward the m43 round is highly ineffective(in comparison to it’s size,energy,recoil) under normal conditions(it was so bad Yugoslavia made their own version M63) resulting in wounds comparable to low powered handgun rounds (like a .380). it contains a mild steel core (upping the sectional density)for stability that dosnt allow the bullet to deform in the body. it also has a fairly centered COG therefore not likely to yaw. the 55 grain (Vietnam era) 5.56 has a rearward COG and low sectional density allowing it to yaw then frag. when they switched to the m16a2 they developed a new round (ss109 62grain) bit increased the effective range while keeping most of the terminal effectiveness (supposedly) ive never met a Vietnam vet that didnt like the 5.56(at least not one who used it)most of the ppl who criticize it never used it in theater(m60 gunners guys who got there early in the war and used m14s) the fact is i dont like the 5.56 that much it’s outdated tech from an era that hailed hydrostatic shock as the only wounding effect but 30cal(7.62) rifles are even more archaic(130 years) every study ever performed on rifle calibers comes down to 3 calibers. 7mm optimum for infantry rifles(US UK SPAIN GERMANY) 6mm optimum for machineguns(US RUSSIA CHINA) 6.5mm sniper/designated marksmen’s rifle (US UK RUSSIA SWEDEN GERMANY ISREAL SOUTH AFRICA AUSTRIA)all with highly pointed bullets giving not only a rearward COG but a high BC meaning it loses energy at a lower rate in flight upon impact it yaws not only displacing more energy but turning the longer bullet on it’s side making a elongated wound. If it frags it crates multiple wound cavities increasing probability that an organ will be hit.
