Call of Duty: Black Ops Gets Confirmed
Ahead of the first official teaser which airs tonight on Gametrailers TV on Spike, the first details for the next game in the hugely popular Call of Duty franchise have been confirmed.
According to UK retailer GAME’s product listing for Call of Duty: Black Ops
Call of Duty returns this November, but this is a Call of Duty like no other, this is Black Ops.
Now you will witness the birth of the Elite Special Forces and take part in off-the-record missions using unconventional weaponry to get the job done! From Cuba to the Arctic and the jungles of Vietnam, Call of Duty: Black Ops features stunning cinematic graphics and intense gameplay that puts you right at the heart of the action!
You’ll also be able to fight online in diverse and exciting multiplayer modes that have yet to be announced
Publishers Activision and developers Treyarch went on to confirm the details dubbing Call Of Duty: Black Ops a ”riveting experience” – as the official website for the title goes live.
“We can’t wait for our community to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head for Treyarch.
“We have focused our entire studio on this game, with dedicated multiplayer, single-player and co-op teams creating the most intense, gripping and riveting experience possible for our fans on all fronts.”
The first teaser trailer for CoD: Black Ops will air tonight on Gametrailers TV on Spike at 12:40AM. Black Ops is due for release 9th Nov 2010.

Yeah Im exited but again Im kinda sick of playing old wars COD has been doing this for years now it would be great if they would start doing things a lot different.

Should be interesting to see how multiplayer is done since this game could span decades. I feel like balancing will be an issue. I don’t want another 1887′s > M1014. 100 years of development should mean something.

yeah i also agree with Ryan34 alot of people dont have high speed or they have high speed but are still laggy which is annoying and bots would fix this alot also some player like to get away from online and play offline bots if they are getting flustered or what not.

I agree with Ryan34! If they are not included, I will not buy the game even if everything else is fantastic. I don’t have some very fast internet and it would lag alot! Anyway what if all of the humanity is inslaved in near future by alien invaders, and we get banned from internet by them? who’s gonna play online then,aliens maby?! than people will play games with bots and CoD7 will be forgoten!(not likely to happen but still…) XD
