E3 2012 – 5 Minute Black Ops 2 Trailer Shown on Huge Screen at Activision Booth

Acitivision’s E3 booth is dominated by a gigantic, 140-foot wide, 6336×720 screen displaying a countdown clock ticking down.

That countdown reached zero earlier today and once it did a 5-minute trailer began to play. There’s a lot of new footage in there, as well as some old stuff already seen in previous trailers.

Hopefully there’ll be an official version released soon because the only versions available at the moment have been filmed from the crowd watching live. If a proper version turns up we’ll replace the one embedded below.

E3 is this time every year. Usually the same amount of details are given on Single player each year this time. No biggie.

Also the first Black Ops 1 trailer was May 18th 2010… compared to May 1st this year. Two weeks difference. They function basically on the same media schedule each year.

i agree mister binary. i am sooo happy they are giving me something to be excited about tho. i have to point out, if you were watching G4 and they showed the gameplay. i was slightly impressed. if you remember back in the day when ghost recon was actually good. very basic, but good. like ghost recon 1 and its sequels up until #2, they had had the unit selection where u could change from one soldier to the next in 2 different squads on the fly. that was tight because it opened up so many options for the player to have multiple load outs and also more lives if you really needed them.

also in GH: jungle storm they added voice command controls where you could be like “bravo: go to checkpoint C” and they would go without you having to do anything.
i would seriously crap my pants if that kind of thing came back. don’t see why not, the voice active controls are better now and console all come with headsets anyways.

i think they are making the single player a lot better now. and i think thats cool enough for me to be into trey arch. at least till i play the game and then decide different but it has peaked my interest.
