E3 2012 – Black Ops 2 Max-Level, MP HUD, Killstreaks, Selectable Fire Accidentally Instagramed
After some of the biggest gaming publications got to play Black Ops 2′s multiplayer at E3, a couple of pictures were posted to Instagram by IGN – and then promptly removed – revealing a number of new details about multiplayer.
Firstly, going by a picture of the multiplayer lobby, it appears that the max level in Black Ops 2 is 55 – 5 more than its predecessor. Of course this could change before release.
Then we have a picture of the new and improved Black Ops 2 HUD that Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar teased the other day on Twitter saying “So fired up right now. UI team put together an MP HUD visual design. Clean with high readability/usability but maintains great looking art.”
You’ll notice the clean, fresh killstreak indicator and ammo-count. This gives away 3 of Black Ops 2′s killstreaks. We already knew that the Quadrotor would be featuring in multiplayer, but the image below confirms that the C.L.A.W will be a killstreak as well as what seems to be a FA-38 jet. You’ll also notice that selectable fire is an option for at least one weapon, the M8A1, and probably for more of Black Ops 2′s guns.

Pretty neat stuff. I wonder how they’re going to balance selectable fire. Battlefield 3 does it pretty well, but that’s pretty different.

i saw on black ops 2 that the 15th prestige emblem is probobly a low prestige or is it somting else like i dun no but its back if u know about the emblems how many are there?
