E3 – Call of Duty: Black Ops ‘Payback’ Campaign Demo @ Microsoft Event
Get to the chopper!… Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia, controller-in-hand, took to the stage at Microsoft’s E3 press conference today to demo a Call of Duty: Black Ops campaign level called ‘Payback’ for the first time.
‘Payback’ starts off inside a tunnel, complete with mutilated bodies and scurrying rats. From there, a fellow soldier gets stabbed right before your eyes, and after a quick battle inside the underground, the presentation skips forward.
“In the interest of time,” everything flashes forward to a new area in which a helicopter has to be taken (by force, of course). Next, Lamia takes full control of the chopper and shoots rockets at nearby villages and bridges, resulting in sheer chaos and plenty of nice-looking explosions. Check it out yourself below.

This game looks like s**t.. the graphics are from Wii or what? Im really dissapointed with this game.. I’ll stay in MW2 for the moment.

Wow no wonder they keep noobtubes in the game, thats all Mark Lamia can use…

treyarch might do what they done in W@W which was unlocking the noobtubes last, there was not a prolem with noobtubes in w@w, i never ran into a guy using them. But it looks like there staying in the game.

Was a little dissappointing, but I gotta say I’m very excited. I’m sure the gun designs and such will be touched up as they still have a few months until launch. But hopefully they’ll spill more details on co-op and multiplayer than they do the campaign mode. Don’t let me down Treyarch! I’m certain youve got ALOT more to show

Im sure they will polish this a lot more before release. Gameplay looked aight, graphics could use some work . im interested in the co-op more than anything really. Cuz MW2 has my attention for Multi right not

they said the gun he’s using is the car-15. i hope it doesnt look like that later cuz it looks more like an acr than a m4
