Extended Black Ops ‘WMD’ Campaign Gameplay (including SR-71 goodness)
In an E3 stage demo with G4TV (embedded below,) Treyarch’s Mark Lamia runs us through an extended look at the Call of Duty: Black Ops ‘WMD’ campaign level we’ve only seen glimpses of so far.
Included is footage of the Scoped Crossbow in action, player-controlled rappelling and the first released footage of a player in control of the SR-71 Blackbird, which if included, is presumably this how it will work in multiplayer.

Nooo, i really don’t hope that the chopper in black ops will be anything like the one in mw2 cause it ruined the whole game :S And i hope that noobtubes and commando will be either extremly nurfed or removed :b

Man I HATE the commanding squad parts of games.I think they ruin gameplay by having too much other stuff. I just want parts with going here and there setting explosives. Call of Duty should stay the same. Or maybe I’m just outdated…

Well from this short demo, it looks kinda like it’ll be RPG-ish
Like you don’t HAVE to do what they did here, you can command the squad to take a different route, changing the way the mission takes place. THAT I think would be pretty cool, otherwise I agree with you. I play CoD to shoot stuff :3 lol

Less scripting and more sandbox is what this series needs. If I can complete an op in 16 different ways then I want to sit there for 10 hours plotting out new courses of action instead of being told I failed if I “leave the mission zone”. If I want to go hiking in the mountain tops then let me do it, I’ll come back eventually.

Is it me, or does the weapon functions and movements look a bit, eh, blocky and staggered.
Not smooth.
And I like how the scope is, how you feel that the glass in the scope is “there”.

I like the idea of commanding a squad, but it is very easy to get carried away when adding a new feature, let’s hope they didn’t over do it and stuck to the basics to keep the game what it’s meant to be. The rest looks great, I love stealth and the kick-ass window smashing guns blazing moments that CoD brings

I just wanted to see the graphics from a level before i get the game even though I saw the trailers but sometimes they make the graphics look better in trailers then in the game so you’ll buy it
