First Black Ops Double XP Weekend Confirmed For Feb 4th-6th
Back in late November Microsoft announced a Black Ops double XP weekend via email newsletters – something which Treyarch knew nothing about – and subsequently announced they had got their “dates mixed up” and that there wasn’t going to be a double XP weekend after all.
Now, almost 3-months after the game released, we have a confirmed date for the first Black Ops double XP weekend. Josh Olin and David Vonderhaar used Major Nelson’s podcast to reveal February 4th – 6th – the first weekend after the First Strike map pack hits Xbox – as the date of the first Black Ops XP-fest. So, clear three days out of your schedule from Feb 4th through Feb 6th because you ’bout to get your double XP on.
The Black Ops double XP weekend will be on all platforms.

The map pack is a month later, but the Double XP weekend is for ps3, xbox ,and pc, all from the 4th to the 6th of February.
