Reworked World at War Zombie Maps for Black Ops, Confirms New Zombie Mode
With the announcement of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige and Hardened Editions today, comes more (unofficial) confirmation of the new Zombie mode.
A number of people are reporting via the official CoD forums that after visiting GameStop to enquire about the Limited Editions they are being told by GS employees that the 4 additional co-op maps included in the special editions of the game are in fact the 4 Nazi Zombie maps from Treyarch’s last game, World at War.
The World at War Nazi Zombie maps, which will presumably be available to all shortly after release, have reportedly been fixed up to work with the Black Ops game engine.
Now, we know that GameStop employees are sometimes not the most reliable source of information – even though they should be - but, multiple GameStop employees from different stores are reporting the same thing, to a number of different people. Whoops!
[UPDATE] This Best Buy listing for the Hardened Edition 100% confirms a Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie Mode.

I haven’t heard of the media getting there hands on it. Where do you get your info at. I have JD_2020 on my twitter and he hasn’t confirmed anything about that.

The thing that sucks about such late release of multiplayer gameplay to the public, is what you see is pretty much what your gonna get. I wish the COD franchise would engage their gamers/fans/public earlier and be more open to feedback. They dont have to show their cards on the single player version, just get that multiplayer out early. Was really disappointed with the MW2 multiplayer (im still playing it), found obvious unbalanced flaws in the multiplayer within 24 hours of playing the game.
Think Blizzard did a good job on balanced multiplayer for StarCraft2, they got multiplayer out early and were very open to feedback. But hey, thats apples and oranges

They’re saying it’s the same maps from zombies reworked for the Black Ops engine. This could simply mean that those maps are gonna be available for multiplayer. Not gonna get all excited about zombies until I hear something official from Treyarch.

I found it Really hard to enjoy WAW-Zombies for the simple Fact that IT WAS TO HARD, AND CHEAP! Now here me out here guys/girls , I Loved it cause its Freakin’ Zombies on a COD ( Wahaha! take that Halo! ) but! lets all face the truth about it!, it WAS TO HARD, impossible to do alone W/O Glitching ( Loathes Cheaters ), you need 4 guys with the Freakin’ Alien Gun, hiding in the Edge of a room together spooning to Survive past Round 25, Here is what i think COD Zombies needs!
Customizable Zombies! ( such as )
Customize the Zombies Speed/Health/Number’s Growth Per Round!
so you can have the zombies never get Harder to kill BUT Have 2000 of ‘em After you by round 10! or you could go the other way, make only 5 zombies by round 10 but it takes 6 Full LMG Box Mags to put’em down, Get it? you should be able to make the zombies how ever you want!
Also make it so you can take you’re ‘Pre-made-classes” into zombies,
With might i add, the ability MAKE YOU’RE OWN FREAKING ZOMBIE MAPS!, like you could with the Lame PC ( only! ) Version , Imagine if you will, being able to make you’re own ZOMBIE LAND! ( sorta speak )

I think that, since zombies never die,the bodies that are racked all over the place should come back to life like every 10 rounds, kinda like the helldogs come every 6 rounds or so. it would make it more interesting because if the people who are playing the game are running around the maps, cheaply avoiding death due to the zombie slow reaction time, it would make the 10th round much harder sine the zombies would be coming from everywhere compared to the windows or doors that the zombies would climb through to get in. After the round their should be an extended period of time for people to get ammo, get guns,etc, since the consecutive rounds would add more bodies to the never ending pile of dead zombies that rise back up and try to kill you every 10 levels. The only way to prevent a zombie from rising up is to kill them before leaving the house, empasizeing the risk of opening up more doors and allowing more zombies in, or staying in the first area and risk getting overwhelmed before it would have mattered. It would add more strategy to an otherwise straight-forward game mode. Comment and rate plz. Im open to suggestions

i think 4 zombies that they shoudn’t get stronger so u don’t have 2 put a whole clip into one of them yes there speed should improve, but not there health, btw every 20 rounds or so there should be a boss mabey like a zombie with a gun , it has better speed and better health then its fellow zombies
