Inside Xbox Black Ops Call of the Dead Preview Video
We know the plot for the upcoming Black Ops Zombie map, Call of the Dead. We have seen the trailer. And now we get to see an extended, 5-minute look at the latest Zombies map from Treyarch in a Inside Xbox Call of the Dead preview with developer commentary. Sit back and chillax as Treyarch take you on a tour around the frozen Siberian outpost that is Call of the Dead.
Call of the Dead launches as part of the Escalation map pack on Xbox 360 May 3rd.

treyarch has really drafted a brand new unique zombie experience, the actors like trejo in machete and sarah , and couple others are somewhat known actors with zombie or paranormal acting background, sarah was in buffy the vampire slayer, englund is in friday the 13th, and robert is Merle Dix from the Walking dead on AMC. so thier is a wide variety of acting experience which will make zombies its own thing. Hopefully down the road Treyarch can make a stand alone zombie game with a plot.
Maybe for the next map pack they could get Arnold shwarzenneger,Van diesel, Syllvestor stallone, and (insert hot chick who kicks zombie ass here lol). thats just an idea.

looks awesome i love the sniping ability i use it all the time on kino and ascension (upgraded L96) IM A SNIPING FREAK got to 36 using just that w/4 ppl anyways new weapons are cool, i wonder what the new perk/ perks are and this is by far the freakiest zombies yet. The boss seemed to always be on the map lol hope he drops something cool. i hope monkeys are gone too (perk stealin b***hes) as long as it stays interesting ill be happy ascention got old pretty fast email me at theisenchristopher@yahoo.com i have a complete amazing zombie map called cataclysm which takes place in a city many floors w/ a trolley whole bunch of detailed s**t.

I’m a big fan of the CoD zombies and this map really does look awesome but i just wish Treyarch stuck with the original characters.

The Escalation call of te dead is going to be Awesome!! Famous people in zombies is a great twist and the map looks huge! zip lines and long ranges between you and the zombies doesnt get much betrer but i know it will. Zombies can follow you on those ziplines tho. And the thor lookin guy must be the one calling the dead cause he’s in round one. Looks like there is atleast one new perk along with double tap. new perk looks like it puts your crosshairs directly at the zombies head like headshot or something. Looks like you start outside and work your way to the ship then lighthouse looking thing definetly new traps look like doors that you walk through and a orange shield pops up.would dig the double machette and pitchfork.

the boss is george remero who is the director of the crazies and dawn of the dead.he comes in round one for a split second and then comes every 4 rounds.in the later rounds he comes with the zombies

i would asume there r some really happy people and some not so happy people after seeing this new zombie map. i for one think its going to kick A$$. i like the fact that they r trying new things to keep people interested. not ding the same old thing just making the map biger and changing the area. the fact alone that there adding real life people in the mix in there movie character is awsome. it adds a more fun playable experance. i saw that each character at the begining video clip in the zombie game has there own weapon and kill. it would be interesting to see if they can use that in the actual game play. like robert england has a specail ability and uses the pich fork and the guy from machette uses his duel machettes and the other guy uses his duel sod off shotguns. that would be a cool bonus. and the fact that the map is the bigest to date is awsome in its self. it helps u from not just wanting to camp in just one spot. and im the kind of guy that when i play long enough i find my spot and camp to stay alive. this way it makes it much more fun to avoid being hit and run around the map and from the vieo there is alot to explore and the desiner gives away a big hint. shot and shot alot. not just the zombies. in thinking there r a few hidden secrets in the map that u have to blow up or shoot with different guns to see them. im curious what the new perk is. its actually a picture of a all white character with the with the center of a sniper cros hairs at the head. so im not sure if its something for sniping only or if its auto head shot. i dought it cuase there is insta kill. it will be interesting. and to see what other perks they will have. there r totall of 7 perks including the new one. so it will be interesting which ones r in this map. and im sure there will be 2 or 3 new weapons. posibly the HK. dont know it there will be a thunder gun considering the map is so big and there is room to get away. To add to all the zombie killing there alowing u to go from different spots in the map by a quick zipline. and there r 3 ziplines in this map. and the zling shot is a cool add on. and if u notice when u slingshot u kill any zombies by u. they get slingshoted into the ocean. and u can turn a totall 360 while riding the zipline and u can shoot as well.but all in all i think without even playing it yet that it will be one of the most playable zombie maps in the cod franchise. please comment

Pros of this zombie map:
New wonder weapon
new perk (I think)
Better zombie looks
REAL boss round
more horror centered map and enemies
new charaters (girl charater on COD=first)
CONS:
same SH*TING guns
still no interesting upgrade system
may feel too “different” for some people
