New Game Modes, Theater Mode, More Coming to Black Ops 2 Zombies
Speaking with BebopVox at E3, Activision’s VP of Production Daniel Suarez confirmed a bunch of new details about Black Ops 2′s new-and-improved Zombies mode.
Not only does the fact that Zombies mode now resides in the multiplayer engine allow for more players and Zombies in-game, but also new game modes. The regular 4-player co-op that Zombies built its name on will make a return, but all-new game modes will be implemented. For example, there’ll be a 4v4 mode that also throws Zombies into the mix. Imagine you and 3 of your friends versus another 4 guys versus a bunch of Zombies. That’s just one of the new modes Treyarch have dreamt up for Black Ops 2.
Another example of one of Zombies’ new game modes is the Wager Matches that debuted in the original Black Ops. The Free-For-All-based mode will be coming to Black Ops 2 with a Zombies twist.
Then there’s the theater mode. Black Ops 2′s Zombies mode will now be included in theater mode, allowing you to make your own movies / montages and show off your Zombies-slaying skills to the masses.
That’s not all, though. There’s a lot more in store for us with Black Ops 2′s Zombies. In fact, “a lot of the nuances of multiplayer have been brought over to Zombies” according to Suarez.

That would be a 10-player game mode. Treyarch already said Zombies will support up to 8 players.

i got an idea for a new map that could be on a U.S.A aircraft carrier and it can have lots of destroyed planes for cover on deck and with a c4 you can blow a locked door that will take you to the control tower from there you can active the elevators of the planes and reactivate the carrier for it to destroy with its defenses the incoming missiles of the enemy ships and the boat will stop sinking making longer the match

I’m delighted that theater mode is finally going to be implented into zombies but how long will it record for? If memory serves me right, In ground war games on Blops it would stop recording after a certain amount of time.
I’d love to know how they’re going to manage to record full games of zombies if they were struggling to record 10-15 minutes of normal gameplay.
Still, delighted about all the changes they’ve made to my beloved zombie mode. I’d like to hear more though, especially more about regular Multiplayer.

i hear that there is this like new mode where u can choose who you want to be in your squad. Like you can take over anyone in ur squad. I think that you become the person that you select?

MW3 ruined theatre Mode!! It would be very glitchy and jumpy, all they need to do in Black Ops 2 is keep it all the same but ad alot more video spaces!!!
