Next Black Ops 2 Double XP Weekend Kicks Off Friday, February 22
Treyarch just announced the fifth double XP weekend for Black Ops 2.
Starting this Friday, February 22, Black Ops 2 players on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U will get double XP in the game’s multiplayer. The 2x XP will come to an end on Monday, February 25th. The fun starts at 10 am/PST Friday, and ends at the same time Monday morning.
Black Ops 2′s first map pack, Revolution, becomes available for the PlayStation 3 and PC in a week on Thursday, February 28th. So, we should probably expect more double XP next weekend if past DLC launches are anything to go by.

got 2 reasons why i’m not going to play it.
1. Lag, c’mon Treyarch.
2. Free to play on Steam this weekend, so Hackers are going hack the f**k out of the game.

The lag does suck. What’s up with that. Multi million dollar video game release and we get lag and master prestiege hackers. Reporting them is doing no good what so ever. But when I can kill a master 9 out of 14 kills in a mach he is no master. And his combat record says 135 nuclear tags but only gets 15 to 20 kills a match. Really do somthing. I’m looking for work if you need someone who can handle that task as a career.

I got 2 reasons why no one cares whether you play it or not.
1. Lag will always be present, no matter who’s making the game. Plus a lot of the issues that seem like lag are because of the game engine, so you can blame Activision if you must blame someone.
2. Crybabies & losers keep crying and explaining, gamers keep playing. Guess which comes to mind when reading your comments..
And an extra one just because you care;
No one is making you play and no one will, surely enough, miss you on the servers with that attitude.

It’s Friday the 22nd @ 7:30pm and still I am seeing no double Xp? My friends are saying the see it but I am only getting 25 per kill and 100 when I confirm. I have the map pack revolution. Anyone know why this would be?

so why are they doing this 2x? usually they do this to celebrate a dlc or holiday or something. are players just dropping off so they needed to give them incentive to play again??

If they’re not celebrating the DLC pack, then I guess it’s the Season Pass thing. I’ve heard that when the Season Pass users get Nuketown 2025, the Chaos Moshpit turns into Nuketown 2025 matchmaking.
Which it apparently has done. That’s just my two cents.

Has nobody bothered to check how double xp works in black ops 2. They have had 5 of them now and released videos and press releases saying you get double xp on MEDALS. Do a simple search for further details instead of coming here and being ignorant of all else.

Hey guys, I have purchased the season pass on my old account but have set up a new account on the same PS3… I’m able to play the new zombies nuke town on my new account but when revolution becomes available will I get the new SMG on my new account as well or just the maps….
