Do you use Twitter? Well firstly, if you do why aren’t you following BlackOpsBlog! Secondly, and most importantly, here is your chance to put Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer suggestions directly to the developers of the upcoming shooter.
Early today (via Twitter) Treyarch’s community manager reached out to the Call of Duty community in order to get multiplayer feedback, specifically, what you like and dislike about previous Call of Duty games multiplayer.

I’m relatively knew to CoD’s. I’ve only been playing them for a year and a half or so, but I am very skilled in all 3 popular ones (MW1, WaW, and MW2). I think that guns should be able to be more customized. It’s possible to get like 5 different attachments (depending on the attachments) in real life, so why not like have a perk that allows 4 instead of just 2. I like the Commando perk from MW2, but, it’s over powered. It should be cut in half, if not more. Also, I’d like to make it so if I leave a game and join a new one, it doesn’t put me in the game I just left. Thats REALLY annoying, especially if I go to like 5 different game modes to find a good game. Also, it’d be kind of cool to be able to join random people’s private matches, but also have the ability to lock them. For example: You could host an online game for fun without having to send 300 invites to people you don’t know. But, if you wanna just have some quick scope no scope with some friends, than, have the option to lock it. And lastly, I think that zombies should be added to Private Matches, that way, so that you can have some mods on zombies without hacking your xbox. For example: Have headshots only, Have extra life on humans etc… Those are my opinions, hopefully I’ll see them in what seems to be a great game so far.

They might also want to look into a perk where the harmless killstreak could be used, almost at will. (Like radar if they have it) And, they could call it in like 3 times per game, depending on different game modes. Just something to think about, I wouldn’t use it, but I also wouldn’t mind it. I’m sure other people who love radar would want it. I really don’t care.

Preferences.
Not so much being able to pick and choose what maps, but being able to pick and choose what types of maps. IE: Big, Medium, Small, Tiny. That sort of thing.

(1)Put as many attachments that can fit on gun.
(2)Let people color there guns and armor however they want because in mw2 the ghille suits were worthless.

You should be have as many attachments as you want but way more variety. Ammo: Standard solid rounds, FMJ’s, Hollow tips and any others i dont know about. Shot gun shells: Buck shot, solid shot, explosive, dragons breath and others i dont know about, all with their own pros and cons. Laser’s(that come on with light press of button), blinding flash light, extended clips the list goes on. Its a game about guns so guns should be heavily customizable like real life. That said i think any 3 attachments should be the norm. Guns that have switchable fire rate in real life should should have it in the game too.

ya because in mw2 they did not have a big variety between weapon attachments.

1) i think that is one of the best ideas cause if u look at some of the soilders over sea they have about 3-4 attachments on their weapons, how cool is the andgun u can get acog on it

New primary weapon KATANA sword (or with Macete). Used in the same way as the knife in MW2:
R3=Lunge (kills two enemy standing inline)
R3+FWD/BWD=Vertical Slash Down/up (blocks Katana H slash and
lunge)
R3+L/R=Horizontal slash L/R (blocks Katana V slash and lunge)
Two strikes of the sword a kill, strikes should be two thrirds the speed of knife melee attack. Katana headshot would be instant kill

Akimbo Animation
I feel the animation with akimbo weapons is lazy, ie: when sprinting i feel the guns should be facing the sky (when seeing in 3rd person perspective) blocking the vision to the far left and right of the screen a little, and the arms should partly extend during running, left and right arm extends fully only when the respective arm is firing. Giving a more gunslingerish animation.

Is this OTT? With the suite you get Unlimited ammo: RPD akimbo and MGL grenade launcher secondary. Or one of the two in each hand. Near invincible havoc for like 40sec’s after you put it on.

Fix the sniper rifle scoping, its bad/unrealistic enough that you can run and gun with a sniper rifle, let alone this “quick scope” debacle! Its a long ranged one shot kill weapon and should be used that way.

create your own maps like halo 3 forge but better coz it’s cod lol.
theater also like halo 3 but iw and treyarch can do much beta then halo.
in create maps lower/higher ground, add water, add trees/shrub and buildings and be able to play ur friends on ur maps.
set up online matches and select what gun/guns u can use and if u can scope or not, like if u want a no scope match.
when out of ammo you run around with ur fists and beat down ppl until u die or pick up a gun.
a huge snow/jungle map with snow mobiles?
same multiplayer as mw2 for offline maybe even better.
higher mountains and rocky cliffs.
earn money per matches to buy guns, vehicles and killstreaks.
finally a massive city map with free to roam tall buildings and a maximum of 30 players in this map and call it something like hektism.

mate i agree with u i myself have a bad net and can’t play online but lvling in offline multiplayer like in mw2 is alrite but vsing bots would make %50 of the games awesomeness and also if u could select the difficulty of the bots you verse.

(THAT GUY) i like shere u r goin with the zombie thing. how about 12 players on a map 2 times bigger than highrise fighting a zombie onslaught with killstreaks. but not just one map,maybe 3 like this and trophies for not getting downed and getting alot of kills. now that is a killlllleeeeerrrrrr mode.and how about 100 phases and the zombies are fast runners with perks. at that point only teamwork can beat all phases communication would also play a key role.

i think u should have a colour wheel to pick different tones and shades of camo to have on your guns there would be lots of different camos to try out and it will separate you from other people online. you and maybe clan members could have the same colours of camo on your guns to represent your clan online.

not just be able to customize your guns for attachments, camo, but also your outfitting, be able to create your own camo for your characters clothes, like ‘create a class’ for your guns, and have a ‘create a outfitting’ for the outfitting. (ie: On MW2 on subbase if you’re on the seals team, ur wearing a dark suite, and are more covered in the tunnel than on the snow, but what if you wanna be on that snowy rooftop…ur so easily spotted, so be able to create your own camo would be a nice thing)

I think you guys should add more options in our guns and perks. like more attachments more camouflage for the actual character gillie suits sucked on MW2 and what happened to the Golden AK-47 other weapons that could be golden that was cool and alot ways. That would be awesome

Have custom title and emblems where you can upload your own, maybe through a site or direct off your ps3/xbox as long as its cut to the desired required size. have say a small section in the titles and emblems for custom slots.

I have an idea about appearance. There should be a default appearance for every faction. Then as you rank up you unlock new items such as helmets, torso’s, tatoos, or something along those lines.

In create a class I wanna to see the attachments/camo ive put on my gun, on my gun (the same way it appears left on the floor in a match) then be able to (with my title/emblem displayed behind it):
A) Spin it, up 360degrees
B) Take a snap shot
So could i use it as my wallpaper.

Gameplay
- destructable buildings in the levels would be cool, more realistic
- idea of armour or other equipment to equip could be good(earn or maybe buy the armour/equipment)
- stats for your character (adds an element of individuality to everyones character)
-vehicles- not sure how you should do this (dont want to ruin gameplay because everyone has vehicles)
-create your own maps and share them online
- being able to film your gameplay (looks like you might be doing this already)
- more grenades/equipment
- grappling hooks would be awesome to climb walls and get into tough spots (heard of a rumour that this could already be getting done)
- maybe using swords and things (not just the normal melee you see in all the other cod games)
- maybe some strategic gameplay you can do by getting a group with all your friends and doing something against another team
-use of the environment around you, hiding on the walls, army rolling, maybe using chairs as weapons or something
im certain there is a billion other things you could do

You should have the option to ‘punish’ the teamkiller. If punished 3 times then kicked out and can’t play a match online for 10 mins. This way the player(s) who is/are teamkilled make the decision. They can decide if it’s deliberate or not.

they should have a thing were when you are not in a game you could run around a military base. and buy new weapons and get upgrades fot them. you could also choose your loadout and perks there to.

snipers with iron sights. and snipers should be one shot kills except for if you get them in the foot through a wall with a silencer. that idea where you run around a military base to choose your guns and perks is really good and they should have heavily customisable gillie suits so that you can make it so good you are virtually invisible:) and they should remove that thing where when you die the camera shows the guy that killed you like for half a second after he kills you(i dont mean the killcam) the remote controlled car should be like 5 or 7 killstreak not three, that just ruins SnD

Think of it as like you don’t die but you’re (eliminated) and you spawn somewhere AS if you died.
But since you didn’t die it wont count toward you’re stats in the real thing.

Wait a min “camp because you suck at the game”? Maybe some hold their ground “camp” coz they’ve got sense. If im in cover/round a corner/in a building/up a tree/ and fools keep running at me, why move if my position is advantageous enough for me to keep killing em? Fool comes running again (knowing where to find me), dies again, because fundamentally i had the better shot. Bad loser shouts “F#@KING CAMPER!” Its the age old knucklehead bullying the smart one again. My only surprise is that there was a knucklehead smart enough to come up with that.

I think there should be vechiles like jeeps on multi-player with MG’s on the back so one person drives and the other shoots. I also think that the customizable ghillie suit is a good idea, like if your on a desert map have a brown/yellow ghillie suit or if your on a snow map have a white suit or something like that. Have more maps so we don’t have to buy map packs straight away and make them bigger. Try to patch all glitches because they ruin the game. Thanks (: Bye!

how about a finishing move… you know how people for example on search and destroy, mess with the last player (follow them, t-bag behind them, 360 and then shoot, jump on them, poke them with the gun, stab them in the back) now if you want a finishing move you need to hold a specific button and a scroll-list comes up with funny/crazy options (put a cooked grenade in their pants, choke them, tie them down to something)

Doors in all the doorways, that can be opened and closed. Its whats needed to combat random noobtubers and grenade throwers. Doors can be permanently destroyed with a breach charge that take 5secs to set, 5secs to disarm and 15secs to blow.

How about…when you prestige you have the option to take one thing with you, be it a gun, killstreak reward or perk. And the choice of a gun to be gold. At the end of 10th prestige, every so many points unlocks a new gold gun. It will get more people to prestige and something to aim for when 10th. And if you can create custom camos, why not unlock a new colour or two every rank.

First:Weapon Camos- you should be able to choose the type a pattern which some have to be unlocked, also have a list of of like 10 or so colors like white blue red and even platnum an gold also have to unlock some colors by completing challenges
Second:Custome Camo/Guillie Suit/Battle Armor- should be able to customize the texture, pattern, and color of Camo and Guillie Suit. For Battle Armor you should be able to unlock different types of armor but doesn’t actually help because that would be unfair for low levels.
Last:Custom Title- like the titles from mw2 but instead you should get to choose a background design but get to type anything you want that’s PG rated

These are things that i enjoys throughout previous games.
In my opinion 2 attatchments is enough you should be able to decide betweeen full auto and 3 Round Burst.I think guns should have more camos.Maybe bring back the gold camo also make them easier to unlock.I also think some things should be taken out like the Grenade Launcher lets be honest we all hate getting “Noob Tubed”.Titles and Emblems were great in Mw2 and i would love to see some in Black Ops.Equipment.In Mw2 the equipment was fab!We all loved frags,semtex,C4 and claymores although i think they should bring back the bouncing betty from World at War and put it as equipment rather than a perk.Onto perks now i thought that the perks in MW2 were very helpful.Scavenger is a must for Call of Duty along with Stopping Power.Other great perks were Bling,Marathon,Commando and Cold-Blooded.The idea of pro to unlock was fantastic and i expect more of this in the future.Killstreak Rewards in the past have been awesome among the best are Nuke,Chopper,Dogs and Artilary.
These have my favourite things about Call of Duty in the past and i would love to see them all in one game.
