UK Black Ops Launch Event to be Streamed Live Online
On Monday 8th November Activision will be hosting a UK Call of Duty: Black Ops Launch Event at the Battersea Power Station in London. Like last year’s Modern Warfare 2 UK launch event, celebrities and sports stars alike will be in attendance to usher in the launch of what is expected to be 2010′s biggest game.
The night will include interviews with the stars, exclusive features, a multiplayer tournament, a EU multiplayer tournament in which top players from around Europe battle it out, a celebrity tournament, a Prestige Edition unboxing, live footage from GAME’s flagship store in Oxford Street, and more.
Can’t make it to the London Black Ops Launch? No problem. You can watch the event live online from 18:30 GMT from a number of sources.

The date is formatted day/month/year like it should be everywhere. I’ve never understood why a date would be formatted to month/day/year, it doesn’t even follow sequence.

Hear hear, everyone try to at least give something on remembrance/veterans day, I gave 50 quid or about 60 something bucks I guess. even a little can help a huge deal, I’m not a sponsor for a charity or anything, but I just want to make sure that I can make someone change their mind on giving a bit.

I agree with hydra reign hackers ruin everything its not even hard to get to 10th prestige in mw2 or get a kill legitly i play ps3 so i dont know about xbox hackers im legit 10th and have a second account first prestige level 60 something and i dont even play anymore i just hope hackers dont ruin black ops so if hackers look at this please dont ruin black ops

I got it on the first day of the UK launch. I’ve finished the campaign on normal and am currently about rank 20 on-line play via xbox 360.
Please introduce MEDICS to the game! I Think it would add another dimension to the on-line game play, as the team play is difficult on a console mainly due to the crap voice with the xbox. I know the PC is better for this type of thing, but I only have a laptop and hence why I play via the xbox.
I still can’t help feel that COD MW2 was the best of all of them. The New maps in Black Ops are too tight for me. I like the ability to stand off and snipe or get stuck in – at the moment I am forced into a rampant run around and kill as many as as I can – normally with a hight death rate. I mean the cold war was all about stand off weapons.. so why have a game play that bucks the era of the setting.
I would say that the game itself is the better of all – but the on-line is too ‘gamie’. I guess I was looking for more of a sim rather than a game with regards on-line play.
Good game by any standards. But; If you have all the CODS… its running its course now I think unless something changes. With regards on-line play – It just feels like an add on pack. You can customize everything, but who give one about that. It looses its lustre after a few hours of customising.
