The Official Xbox Magazine hit newsstands today wielding a Call of Duty: Black Ops feature and the first facts about Treyarch’s upcoming shooter within its glossy exterior.
The UK based magazine was granted early access with Black Ops and reveals a wealth of gameplay details, confirmation of level settings, and also some previously unseen in-game shots and artwork.

- Black Ops is a Cold War-era deniable-ops shooter that tackles Vietnam, the Russian Mountains, the Loation undergrounds and everything in between.
- OXM describes Black Ops as “unbelievably gorgeous”, with snazzier smoke and fire effects, better draw distance, more convincing character animation and “incredible” lighting in some scenes.
- You play as a member of the Studies and Operations Group (SOG), a pocket of CIA-sanctioned forces whose methods are unconventional and actions deniable.
- SOG missions the mags saw include rappelling out of a helicopter into Hue City to verify that the Russians are setting up shady backroom deals, and a stealthy operation in the Ural Mountains called ‘WMD’
- Another level, which kicks off with a helicopter crash into the Huong River, has you swimming and diving through the murky waters – with only your knife for company
- New weapons include the Crossbow, which can be used for both stealthy kills and an explosive tip secondary, the M202 rocket launcher and an incendiary shotgun called ‘Dragon’s Breath’
- Vehicles will be in multiplayer, but “not the way you remember them”
- Create a class 2.0 will allow you to customise yourself like never before
- There will be a dedicated co-op with seperate levels although Treyarch changed the subject when asked about nazi zombies
- A Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer beta is being “considered”

besides aren’t there other automatic shotguns because H&K made one but I forgot the exact name of it

H&K G11 I believe. It ( the G11) also has a unique recoiling system, where the shooter does not fell the recoil until the duration of 3 shots. It also has a bullpup design, more mobility, bigger barrel. It even has a freakin top loaded magazine!!!

If its Possible i want a crossbow scoped with akimbo magnums as a secondary; slieght of hand, cold blooded, and the ninja equivelint(spelling failure) with a ghillie suit since you can character customize.

the objective in the zombie mode is probly just like a mission you have to get to a safe zone and you can actually beat nazi zombie just a guess though.

come if someone from Treyarch is reading this! please put out a multiplayer beta you’ll patch glitches find what you should change which is too unfair maybe vehicles are glitchy and people will post youtube videos showing those glitches which they could patch and we can’t wait any longer dammit!

This is gonna be a mix in between wORLD OF WAR and MODERN WARFARE 2 you have most mw2 guns + the flamethrower rocket launchers like from waw its a mix between looks very fun
